Skills Development Scotland (SDS) Careers Advisers support individuals across Scotland to build their career management skills- helping people like you to make the best career plans possible throughout your life.
We have SDS Careers Advisors who work in Fife College campuses, providing impartial careers guidance to students. They help with-
- Career Management Skills – help to identify the skills, knowledge and experience you have to help you decide on a course or career path
- Understanding routes into your preferred career such as apprenticeships, college courses or volunteering
- Advice and information on your options after college, and help to decide which is right for you
- Dedicated support for Winter leavers in college
Skills Development Scotland Careers Advisers are available at each campus to offer guidance to College students, prospective students and their parents. At present we offer telephone appointments; and face to face appointments at our area Skills Development Scotland centres based in Dunfermline and Kirkcaldy.
You can book an appointment with an SDS Careers Adviser by contacting us directly using the details below; or by asking for a referral through any college adviser staff member; or by asking reception.
They will need a mobile number to call you back, and an indication of when is a good time to contact you. Let them know if you require any reasonable adjustments to be made when arranging your appointment.
